Inclusion Reference Group

We have been listening, and we value the voices of our school community.

After many conversations, we are starting an Inclusion Reference Group. This group will help families share ideas and work together to support our school and our kids.

What does this mean?

It’s a chance for families to be part of improving how the school supports children, so every child feels safe, included, and able to learn.

How will we do this?

We will look at what is working well and what could be better across the school.

Sometimes it can feel like only one child is having a hard time, but often other children are feeling the same — and sometimes teachers are too. This group will help us see the bigger picture and find ways to make things better for everyone.

With the help of an independent consultant, we will listen to families, look for common themes, and come up with simple, practical ideas to share with the P&C and the school.

This is about working together — families, the P&C, and the school — to support our children.

If you would like to be part of this, please contact Katrina Nilsson, Chairperson of the Inclusion Reference Group, at trinsnilsson@outlook.com

Let’s work together to make a positive difference for our kids.

We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather and honour their connections to land, sea and community.

We pay our respects to elders past, present, and emerging.

May we work together in harmony.
